The Lawrence-Cedarhurst American Legion Post 339, in conjunction with the Village of Cedarhurst, will commemorate Veterans Day 2016 at the Andrew J. Parise Park Veterans Memorial on Friday November 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
The program will memorialize and honor the Veterans of Post 339 who died this past year and will thank all of our surviving Veterans of past wars as well as those who are still serving.
Post Commander Syd Mandelbaum said “Our veterans served their country with honor and devotion for the ideals which make America great.” Mayor Benjamin Weinstock added, “It is with deep respect that we come together as a community and share our immense gratitude and sincere pride for our great Veterans.”
