On August 31st starting at 6:30 pm the Town of Hempstead will be offering a child safety ID program at Andrew J. Parise Park, Cedarhurst durning our annual summer concert event. This program will feature a safety kit that contains potentially lifesaving information to be used in case of an emergency.
Town Clerk employees will be taking fingerprints and photographs of your children, which will be stored in a “kit” along with any medical data, dental records and other personal information that you want stored. All of this is FREE of charge.
Most importantly, your child’s fingerprints, photographs and personal records are NOT retained by the Town of Hempstead or any other agency.
We hope that you never have an emergency that requires you to use this kit, but having this tool can give you peace of mind.
If you are unable to attend this Child Safety Program, you can call the Town of Hempstead Town Clerk’s Office at 516-812-3046 to schedule an appointment to come to Hempstead Town Hall to complete the kit. For more information please visit the Town of Hempstead Child Safety Program by clicking here.
