A savory smell of pasta filled the air at Andrew J. Parise Park for its annual Italian night concert in Cedarhurst. “Magic at its Best” Pat Darienzo opened our concert event with his unique blend of comedy, magic, and illusions. Mr. Darienzo dazzled the audience with his hypnotizing ability that brought us back to the 60’s. When awoken from his trance The New York Rat Pack and Rinaldo Toglia were getting ready to perform an outstanding show.
While everyone was looking for Dean Martin at the local bars, singer Mary Naccarato from The Ladies Sons of Italy sang the Italian National Anthem and Michael Harper sang The American National Anthem. With their amazing voice echoing throughout the park, Mezzanote Restaurant was serving their authentic Italian cuisine. Once the anthem was done and the aroma filled the air, Dean Martin and the rest of his pack came stumbling into the park to perform a show that we will never forget. The New York Rat Pack & Friends resembles the singing and swinging styles of Frank, Sammy, Dean & Marilyn causing critics to proclaim that Swingin’ With The New York Rat Pack is as close as any person can get to hanging out in the front row of The Copa.
