Sirens in Appreciation of First Responders and Healthcare Workers

Posted on

We all deeply admire the courage and dedication of our first responders and healthcare workers.  At this critical time, it is especially important that we publicly and loudly demonstrate our appreciation and gratitude to the men and women who put their lives at risk battling an invisible enemy. This is a war that none of us has ever seen before.  These heroes deserve everyone’s recognition.  It is the least we can do.

On Tuesday, April 7th at 7:00 pm, Nassau County Fire Departments will be sounding the sirens from all the firehouses in our area to salute and thank all of our first responders and healthcare workers.  When you hear the sirens, please go out to the front of your home and join in by clapping and cheering to show your appreciation.
