On Saturday, August 8th, the portion of Washington Avenue between Central Avenue and the LIRR tracks will be closed for milling. This is being done in preparation for the repaving of that section of Washington Avenue that will be done on Saturday, August 15, 2020, weather permitting. The LIRR crossing on Washington Avenue will remain closed each Saturday while the work is being performed. Please use the crossings at Rockaway Turnpike and Cedarhurst Avenue instead.
