The Village of Cedarhurst celebrated a significant milestone with the grand opening of the new Pickleball Courts at the scenic Andrew J. Parise Park. This impressive transformation of the old basketball courts into state-of-the-art Pickleball facilities not only introduced a new recreational option but also paid tribute to a cherished member of the community. During the ceremony, a plaque was unveiled in honor of Ariel Weinstock, the son of Mayor Benjamin Weinstock and Eileen Weinstock, who sadly passed away on August 18, 2024.
This remarkable transformation was made possible through the collaborative efforts and funding from New York State Assemblyman Ari Brown and the Village of Cedarhurst. Our commitment to enhancing community well-being has been vital in making this project a reality. With the new Pickleball Courts now open, residents of all ages can enjoy a space that fosters connection, activity, and a vibrant sense of community.
The Pickleball Courts are open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM.
