Passport Day in Cedarhurst

With the pandemic waning and warmer weather in sight, Americans are on the move and excited to explore all corners of the globe!  The Village of Cedarhurst is happy to host the Town of Hempstead’s Mobile Passport unit in Village Hall on Sunday, April 3rd from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM to help you apply for a U.S. Passport with ease.

Passport Day provides an opportunity to apply for a passport through a convenient, streamlined process.  To apply for this important travel document appointments are required, and can be made by calling the Office of the Hempstead Town Clerk at (516) 812-3100.

Prior to arriving for your passport appointment, we highly recommend that you download the appropriate application at travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/forms.html to familiarize yourself with the information that will be required at the time of your appointment, such as proof of identity and citizenship. You can fill out the application in advance, but DO NOT SIGN until instructed by a passport officer at your appointment.

Visit hempsteadny.gov/436/Passport-Fees for passport fees and accepted forms of payment. Passport photos can be taken at the time of your appointment (a small fee applies).

The Town of Hempstead Passport Office is also open weekdays by appointment only. Please call (516) 812-3100 with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
