We were just informed by the LIRR regarding an important service change for the upcoming weekends. This change is due to essential switch replacement work designed to enhance service quality.
During the weekends of October 25th to 28th and November 8th to 11th, there will be no train service between Jamaica Station and Atlantic Terminal from Friday at 9:00 PM until Monday at 4:00 AM.
During this time, the LIRR encourages all riders to use the subway service as an alternative. Riders can enter the following subway stations at no cost by presenting their LIRR tickets to the station booth agent:
- Sutphin Blvd-Archer Avenue
- Broadway Junction
- Nostrand Avenue
- Lafayette Avenue
- Fulton St (G Train)
- Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center
Please note that the last trains to run on Friday nights will be the 8:44 PM from Jamaica Station and the 8:51 PM from Atlantic Terminal.
