Irish eyes were smiling at Andrew J. Parise Park in Cedarhurst, for their second concert of its summer concert series. People of all ages gathered around the pavilion with Irish flags held high. While the Nassau County Pipes & Drums displayed their love for Irish and Scottish music with the beautiful sounds of their pipes and drums. The sounds of their pipes filled the Village while they marched out of the park to make room for Celtic Justice.

Celtic Justice is a traditional blend of authentic Irish music that creates a dynamic, vibrant and memorable musical experience for audiences everywhere. A professional, talented and extremely entertaining line-up that boasts very impressive resumes as individuals, to bring you the very best in Irish music. Their charismatic stage presence makes it impossible for them to be anything other than hugely entertaining.

During the concert The Donny Golden School of Irish Dancing took the floor. These young boys and girls put on an incredible performance in a traditional Irish dance that entertained us all. The Donny Golden School of Irish Dancing is one of the premier Irish dancing schools in the world.

Over 60 benefactors contributed to the 2014 series including the opening night sponsors: Ancient Order of Hibernians, Padraic Pearse Division 3. Mayor Parise explained “All of our sponsors have played a vital part in making these concerts a reality since the very beginning”.

Mayor, Andrew J. Parise, The Board of Trustees, and public officials, along with our generous sponsors from local businesses and corporations are very pleased with the outcome and the great performance from these shows. July 15th come join us for American Songbook, with performance by The Sensational Tony “B”, pre-show by Pat Darienzo. We also invite you to come and enjoy our playground and water park. You will be happy you did!
