Great American Songbook in Cedarhurst

Mayor Andrew J. Parise thanks this week’s sponsor From Left to Right: TD Bank Victor Alvarez and Melisa Cunha; Salvatore Evola, Village Administrator; Mayor, Andrew J. Parise; Tito Laregina, Tito’s Hair Stylists; Hon. Bruce Blakeman; Trustee Myrna Zisman; Trustee Ronald Lanzilotta Sr.; Commissioner Irving Kaminetsky; and Trustee, Ari Brown.

“Magic at its Best” Pat Darienzo opened our concert event with his unique blend of comedy, magic, and illusions. Mr. Darienzo dazzled the audience with his hypnotizing ability that brought us back in time. When awoken from his trance The Sensational Tony “B” was getting ready to perform an outstanding show.

Based on the Great American Song Book, Tony B carried on the traditions of the legendary entertainers with a style & charm that is uniquely his own. With an outstanding voice, that amazed us all, Tony B capture the excitement of Darin, the power of Bennett, and the swinging sensibility of Sinatra.

These outstanding concerts are not possible without our great sponsors. With over 60 benefactors contributed to the 2014 series including this concert: Tito’s Hair Stylists, St. Joachim’s Roman Catholic Church, G.S. Shell Station and Dalsimer Spitz and Peck. Mayor Parise explained “All of our sponsors have played a vital part in making these concerts a reality since the very beginning”.

Mayor, Andrew J. Parise, The Board of Trustees, and public officials, along with our generous sponsors from local businesses and corporations are very pleased with the outcome and the great performance from these two shows. On July 22nd the village brings Italian Night to the park with Moreno Fruzzetti, with a pre-show by LHS Jazz Band. We also invite you to come and enjoy our playground and water park. You will be happy you did!

The concert schedule can be found at www.cedarhurst.gov or at the Cedarhurst Village Hall on Cedarhurst Avenue.
