On Monday, April 6th New York American Water will start a project to replace the water main on Cedarhurst Avenue between Village Hall and Central Avenue. The installation project will include drilling under the rail road tracks at the Cedarhurst Avenue crossing.
The water company advised the Village that during construction, residents and store owners on Cedarhurst Avenue may experience brief water service interruptions and possible road closures. The water company agreed to notify affected residents and store owners by door hangers 24 hours in advance of any planned outages.
