Amnesty Program For Cedarhurst Parking Violations

Mayor Benjamin Weinstock is pleased to announce that the Incorporated Village of Cedarhurst will again engage in a special Amnesty Program targeting parking violations that occurred in this Village.

This program will begin immediately and end May 15, 2016.  This program encompasses all delinquent parking tickets (not moving violations) and judgments issued prior to January 1, 2016.

“As with the last Amnesty Program, we anticipate a great response.  This program was designed to help people clear their overdue accounts and to offer them a distinct financial advantage in doing so,” explained Mayor Weinstock.  He added:  “that all fines and penalties will be reduced by half and may be paid with cash, check, Master Card or Visa.  The amount must be paid in full and any outstanding parking violations issued in 2016 must be paid in full as well.

To participate in the Amnesty Program please visit the Village Court office in Village Hall, 200 Cedarhurst Avenue, Cedarhurst, Monday to Friday between 9 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.  If you are uncertain as to whether you have old tickets or not, or would like more information, please call the Court Clerk at 295-5522.

Failure to pay parking tickets may result in suspension of your License or Registration.
