Presiding Officer Howard J. Kopel and New York State Senator Patricia Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick are hosting the NuHealth/NUMC Mobile Mammography Van to provide breast cancer screenings for women over 40. The screening includes a breast examination by a nurse, a mammogram, and instructions for breast self-examination.
Appointments are required and are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. For additional information or to make an appointment, contact Presiding Officer Kopel’s office at 516-571-6207.
The event will take place on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the parking lot at Cedarhurst Village Hall.
