A Night of Irish Music

The final concert of the summer series at Andrew J. Parise Park was a mesmerizing musical voyage through the essence of Irish classics. On Tuesday, September 10th, the Village came together in harmony, reveling in the ageless melodies delivered by the extraordinary Andy Cooney and his band.

The evening also featured an exceptional performance by The Donny Golden School of Irish Dancing. Renowned for their excellence in traditional Irish dance, the school presented a stunning display by its talented young dancers, whose vibrant energy and precise movements delighted the crowd.

This year’s concert series was made possible through the generous support of over 60 benefactors, including the Irish night sponsors such as Frank B. Lewis Attorney at Law, US Congressman Anthony D’Esposito, Ancient Order of Hibernians – Padraic Pearse Division 3, Russo Development Enterprises, and Long Island Sanitation Equipment Co.

Mayor Benjamin Weinstock remarked, “Our sponsors have been vital in bringing these concerts to life from the very beginning. We extend our deepest gratitude to them, as these events would not be possible without their support. We eagerly anticipate what next year’s concerts will bring.”
